The Process

One Coat Painting makes your interior painting simple.

Entering Information

Entering your room dimensions into our system allows you to have instant information and answers to know exactly what your project will cost, and allows us to keep our prices lower than any of our competitors.

First, take room dimensions of your room(s). Please round to the nearest foot. See our measuring guide for tips and guidelines, and enter them into the appropriate spaces on the calculator. Don’t forget to name your room and select the room type. Then enter your paint color. If you don’t know your color yet, you save your project under your e-mail address, but you will need to log in. Once you have picked your color, you need to select the number of coats you want. Click on “How many coats do I need?” to help you decide.

The last step is to decide if you want your ceilings painted or not. If your ceilings are the old-school popcorn (some say it looks like cottage-cheese), you will need to select that option.

Now you have an exact quote. If you want to add another room, you can click on “+ add a new room to this project”, and an additional room will immediately appear at the bottom of the list of rooms.

Once you have entered all the rooms, you can go to the bottom of the page to upgrade your paint and add a discount code (if you have one). If you enter at least three rooms, you will automatically receive a 15% discount.

Clicking on “Next Step: Schedule Your Project” will bring you to a page that will ask you to schedule your project and ask for some contact information. The final step will be to enter your credit card information for payment.

One Coat Painting offers basic painting services. We offer to paint only walls and ceilings in the rooms you measure. Once you accept your proposal, you will be contacted by one of our customer service agents (either that day or the following business day), who will go over your project in detail, and clarify any questions you may have and schedule your verification meeting.

Prior to painting day, you will need to be available to meet with one of our field representatives who will verify your room dimensions. This will ensure that everything has been measured correctly, and your project is priced appropriately.  If there are discrepancies with your project, your field rep will go over your options and get your final approval. Once approved, your crew is confirmed to begin painting.  This is also when you will meet with our Color Master, to help you select the right paint color for your room(s).

The morning of your project, your crew will arrive during your scheduled appointment hour. At the end of the project you must be present to inspect and approve the work that has been performed. After you approve the project, you will be billed the balance of your project.

Any schedule changes once you have accepted a date and time will incur a rescheduling fee.
